Help File
Is there a help file on how some the features work? I can figure out most things as they are very intuitve however, one thing I stuggle with is the Group Tracking and a Help File would be nice with an explaination and or possibly screen shots of how to use it.

Group Tracking - It seems that the default should be tracking all requirements, I do not feel that I should have to select the requirements I want to track.

Event Tracking
I think it would be good to be able to track events other than service hours and camping. Things such as merit badge clinics with the troop, fundraisers etc.

ability to view reports
Is it possible to add the ability to View reports before you print and also have the ability to view after they have been printed,it would be nice to reference back to them without having to always print them.

Reports and Dashboards
The number of reports and the information on the dashboard is too limited. A dashboard showing the overall rank advancements is needed. A dashboard showing the overall required merit badges earned is also needed. If these things are already available there are not readily visible.
2 votesJeremy, there’s a more detailed report of each scout on the Scout Profile page. If you click on one of the scouts on the dashboard you’ll see a preview show up on the right with a “View Full Profile” link. The profile page shows the dates of each rank advancement and all of the completed and partial merit badges.
If you’re looking for additional reports that relate to the entire troop, then I would love to get your ideas, as well as anyone else’s, on what kinds of reports would be most helpful.

Rank order on advancement report
have noticed that on the advancement report it does not print in rank order. I think this would be better suited to print in rank order
1 voteTom, I think that’s a great idea. I’ve noticed that same thing when I print out reports for my troop as well. I’ll plan on changing that and post a message here when it’s done. Thanks for the feedback!

Service Projects should allow hours to be customized for each scout

Android App
Create an app that will allow you to track scouts without being connected to the internet. Allow the app to sync up with my account when I have internet connection again.

Support for Multiple Day Events on Troop Calendar
The calendar should be able to enter a date from and to. I have to manually enter each day which can be excessive especially like summer and winter camp.

Show Name On Group Tracker
When selecting scouts in the bulk update, only thumbnails of images are shown. This makes it hard to get right because the pics are small and not all scouts have pics loaded. It would be better if their name was shown.

Name Tool Tip
On the dashboard page, it would be nice to have a tooltip with the scout's first & last name when you hover over their pictures.

Import Council Roster
Council registrar can provide a CSV file with all member info (but no advancement info). You should be able to import that to create Scouts. Be great to present me with a list of Scouts and Adults in the CSV and let me choose which ones should be imported into this site.

Add Scout History While Adding New Scouts
It would be very helpful to be able to include a scout's completed merit badges and ranks when added a new scout. That way you wouldn't have to go back and add them later.

Court of Honor Report
Id like to have a report of all the advancements (separated by rank and merit badges) earned since a particular date. This is sometimes called a "Court of Honor" report since it is often used to generate the list of advancements since the last COH. It would also be very handy to see advancements since the beginning of the year when evaluating our Journey To Excellence advancement goals.

unit site calendar
On the unit site calendar instead of Meeting Title it would be nice if it just said Title: and we could type in our own subject, meeting, campout, merit badge day .... or have a drop down prepopulated with the most commly used items or the ability for each troop to create their own drop down list. I did see a post asking for a start date and end date it would also be nice to have a start time and end time.
0 votesPaul, I think it’s a good idea to change it to just “Title” instead of “Meeting Title”. I don’t plan on putting in any predefined titles because I want to leave it open to the user to define those.
For the start and end date, I do plan on adding that feature.
